The attendant's face instantly turned as dark as a deep pool. He looked at her and sneered coldly.

So, the person accompanying the emperor to the entertainment house isn't necessarily a eunuch. He might be Prince Su, Ji Shang.

After years of indulgence, the emperor abdicated early under pressure from his ministers, letting the young crown prince take the throne and appointing Prince Su as regent to assist him.

One day, the emperor went to the entertainment house and learned that Yanyan had been bought out. He hurried to the regent's residence.

"Fifth Brother, why did Gu Yanyan run off with someone without a word? Hurry and find a way to bring her back for me."

Ji Shang smiled at this. "Leave it to me. I will find her and give her a good scolding on Your Majesty's behalf."
