Yan Nian had fun, while he washed the sheets.

One morning, Yan Nian woke with a start at the sight of the messy bed.

"Last night was just an accident. We're both adults, so let's pretend nothing happened. If you ever want to date or get married, our contract ends right then. I'll give you a huge wedding gift."

"Then what are we?"

"...Aren't we friends?"

"Right." After a brief silence, Wen Ruyu nodded, his dark eyes fixed on him. "We're friends."
