Wild Man

They severed the tendons in my hands and feet and tied me to the city wall as a hostage.

For Shen Xu to take the city, he had to step over my corpse.

I had helped him kill so many people.

How could I not see that his hesitation was because he couldn't bear to do it?

But when his unerring cold arrow really pierced me,

I felt utterly free.

He got his wish and became emperor, worshipped by the masses.

Yet though he had everything he could want, he went mad and tore apart an entire city searching for my bones,

spending every day looking for a woman named "A Man."

Half a year later, when we met again, he was a guest my husband had encountered on the road and invited home.

We came face to face by chance, and he stared at me without looking away.

I could only step forward gracefully and introduce the person beside me:

"Young Master, this is my husband, A Man's husband."

He was the one you personally chose for me.
