This is an old story too. The site I used to frequent deleted my author account. I wanted to find my saved draft, but it was gone. In the end, I found it on a pirated novel site. Back then, my pen name was Jun Xijue, and writing was such a joyful experience. The style of this story has a faint trace of Floating Cloud (or was it Floating Life?) Teahouse, since I'd just read that novel at the time. Then I realized that the draft I have now might not be complete. So I could only write the ending from memory and file it away as a fragment... But! I refused to give up! I found the complete version I printed out in 2023! Hahaha, the fragment is complete again~
Synopsis:
This story has a touch of the supernatural.
The proprietress loves listening to stories. Set out a complimentary serving of tea snacks and a cup of herbal tea, and you're ready to hear a one-of-a-kind story.
The entire kitchen staff are puppets. The manager is the proprietress. The staff include Xiong Mo, an adorable, dazed-looking black bear spirit, and Wu Tong, a gentle-looking parasol tree spirit. Wu Tong keeps a black cat.
People come and go at the Herbal Tea House. Some are perfect passersby, leaving without a trace. Others leave behind a story for those who stay at the teahouse to savor.
When you have some free time, come have a cup of tea.
A famous teahouse in the nonhuman world. A proprietress said to be very capable. Herbal tea said to be quite miraculous. Stories said to be irresistible. They say...
They say the tea tastes like whatever the stories make you feel.
A supernatural tale set in the modern day, no central couple, female protagonist. The whole story is made up of six little tales told by the guests. Don't worry, they're all told by humans or nonhumans in the safety of the teahouse. (I wonder if anyone will still read it without a central romance ::>_)
