After three years of an ordinary (?) university life in Tokyo, the perfectly ordinary (?) Amamiya Ren now faces the difficult task of choosing a career.

The good news: he has no shortage of job offers.

Whether from a multinational corporation, a private company, an official agency, or a small detective office, he has them all.

Option A: Employee at Black Raven Distillery Ltd. The staff are all top technicians from around the world.

Option B: Port Mori Corporation. Hey, see that landmark building in Yokohama? That’s the place!

Option C: Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, in Beika Town. The crime rate here is through the roof.

Option D: Special Division for Gifted Citizens. A senior says the overtime is brutal.

Option E: Armed Detective Agency. Coworkers slack off, benefits and pension, weekends off, you can keep a cat, and there’s a coffee shop downstairs!

Amamiya Ren and Mona: “Paradise!”

On the recommendation of Director Taneda, the detective agency hires a new colleague.

The new colleague takes one look at Mr. Dazai and reacts with great surprise, as if he’s looking at something extraordinary, someone remarks.

The new colleague seems insecure about his looks, but he works very efficiently, someone comments.

The cat is nice, someone leaves a message.

He can make super spicy curry, someone remarks.

Not bad, someone leaves a message.

[Reader’s Guide]

01. I’m terrible at writing blurbs. This is the best I could come up with.

02. The main settings are Tokyo and Yokohama, but I may throw in some other locations now and then.

03. The original creators own their respective works. Any out-of-character writing is on me, ozn.
