A collection of interconnected stories, with stories beyond the main characters.
1. An optimistic-seeming girl who is actually sensitive and pessimistic VS a gentle, benevolent Kitchen God who has lived too long and no longer wants to live
Lu Yue died again, only this time she found herself in an unfamiliar dynasty. She became a ghost from legend, drifting freely yet alone. Then she met the first person who could see her. Or was it a god?
Chong Li never thought he'd still have ties to the mortal world. He should have vanished, but the young girl before him seemed more eager to disappear than he was. Chong Li: ?
2. A ginkgo tree spirit who loves sleeping and is indifferent to everything VS a proud, obnoxious, talkative peach blossom tree spirit
This temple must have been built over a hundred years ago, but the ginkgo tree hadn't noticed. She only woke for one or two hours a day, and during those rare waking moments, all she heard was her neighbor chattering away. The peach blossom was always talking: how someone had hung a red ribbon on him and prayed, how he'd seen lovers confess their feelings to each other, how many people adored him...
But what he said most often was: "Ginkgo! Your fruit fell again! Aah! Keep those stinky fruits away from me!"
3. A disabled, world-weary duke's daughter who longs to be loved VS a notorious dragon who is actually a nurturing dad at heart
A dragon kidnapped Ellie. The duke was devastated, but for the stability of the kingdom, he had no choice but to make a painful sacrifice. That's the version in the rumors. Ellie knew perfectly well that her father had willingly offered her to the dragon. Trading a disgraced, disabled daughter for honor was an excellent deal. But... why was Mr. Dragon so unlike the stories?
Looking at the plate piled high with food, she watched him grip a spatula and insist she enjoy the pleasures of good food. Was this really what a normal dragon was like?
4. To be decided
P.S. 1. The style will be fairly lighthearted, warm, and goofy.
2. Strictly speaking, this is my first novel. I came up with its outline before the one about infrastructure development, so it may not be especially good, but I've decided to publish it anyway.
Theme: A kindred soul, regardless of anything else.
