A transfer student came to Hachihara. Or rather, another transfer student had come.

"You seem to be able to see some unusual things too, don't you?" Her sharp, dangerous gaze showed through her rimless glasses. She smiled. "You know those things aren't human, yet you still go near them. Are you an idiot?"

Asagiri Nana never expected there to be so many yokai and cursed spirits in such a remote countryside as Hachihara. Just as she never expected to meet someone else who could see these beings in a place like this.

"Too?" the golden-haired boy with slit pupils asked instinctively.

Asagiri Nana thought she had found someone like herself in Hachihara. Only later did she realize that the boy was so gentle, he seemed like an oddity.

Reader's Guide:

"You wouldn't understand. This is the boundless depth of my respect." The girl pointed to the three characters on the sign, her expression serious. "This is the Great Dimensional Wall."

"Huh..." The straw-hat boy seemed to understand, more or less.

"Are we really going to let Miss Yoyo keep hanging out with this idiot?!" The curly-browed young man nearly chewed on his handkerchief. "She wasn't like this at all when we first met!"

"Well, it's not like the ship is short on idiots already." The short-haired, orange-haired girl smiled helplessly.

After all, they're nakama.
