[One Piece] Why Won't Fleet Admiral Sengoku Ascend the Throne?

Second-person, otome-style

You’re a little menace born to a big menace. Your dream is to become a great statesman, help your ruler reach the top of the universe, then walk away after the job is done, leaving your name and accomplishments hidden.

But the Grand Line is full of danger. What’s so wrong with using a few underhanded methods? What?

Yet the World Government rejected you for the laughable reason that you failed to meet the standard in an 800-meter fitness test. You hold a grudge, all the more determined to secretly accomplish something great and amaze the whole world. But it feels like you’d have to pass a fitness test to join the Marines, too.

You’re not worried in the least. You just blame the whole world.

You figure that if the Marines are just as unreasonable, you’ll pick a great pirate to support instead and let the skull-and-crossbones fly across the Grand Line!

Fortunately, the Fleet Admiral in Marineford has an eye for talent.

Overjoyed, you resolve to dedicate your youth to Marineford.

But after a while, you start to feel like Fleet Admiral Sengoku doesn’t like you. If he did, why would he keep rejecting your suggestions?

Theme: Work hard to bring about the Marines’ beautiful vision: “Together, we’re a ball of fire; apart, we’re a police station.”
