Dreams of Mermaids, Cat Paws, and the Galaxy

Summer has come, and the sound of the sea and its waves echoes in my ears.

I think I've made a wonderful new friend. I high-fived them.

I touched my new friend's soft, fluffy fur.

My new friend's paws left a few grains of beach sand in my hair.

At night, I look up at the stars and the Milky Way.

The deep blue sky is just like the sea.

Do stars dream?

And what do they dream about?

This story sees the world through the eyes of a merperson who lives in the sea, introducing animals on land and the starry sky, and exploring how to make friends with others as equals and with kindness. After the age of four, children gradually develop a theory of mind: the ability to understand the world from someone else's perspective, and to recognize other people's viewpoints and feelings. This helps them further develop empathy. Through this fairytale, I hope to help children develop these abilities while making them feel the warmth of love and leaving them with a beautiful, dreamlike memory.
