1. This is a fictional world with dynasties. Its technology is roughly equivalent to that of the Republic of China era, but only the technology is similar. Everything else is completely unrelated.

2. The top is genuinely frail, not pretending. His eyes can't tolerate light, so he needs a white cloth blindfold. He's in poor health and usually uses a wheelchair. The bottom has to feed him, carry him when he walks, help him bathe, and hold him while he sleeps.
