Memories are fragments of time that piece together what we once were. Time will go by, but the memories will always stay in the softest corner of my heart. Memories are like the wind, which carries a familiar smell when it blows, but you can no longer catch it. Every bit of the past has now become the scenery in memories. Memories are like the stars at night. Although they are far away, they still illuminate the way forward. Memories are silent movies that replay in the mind over and over, never ending. Some memories are as yellowed as old photos, but they are still as clear as ever. Some stories can only be relived in memories, but cannot be repeated again. Looking through old photos, I discovered that the most touching stories have long been written in our youth. Time has taken away too many things, but only those beautiful moments will be fixed in memory forever. How I wish I could wake up and be the same young boy lying on his desk dreaming, with the familiar chirping of cicadas and blue sky outside the window.
