Jiang Yubai has been stationed at the border all year round. He is taciturn and weather-beaten, burdened with the scars and secrets brought by his mission. Su Wan is a surgeon stationed at the border with the medical team. He is calm and tough, familiar with life and death, and has a past that he cannot let go of.
In the vast Gobi desert, with thousands of miles of wind and sand, a rescue mission tied the two of them into the same boat of destiny. When we first met, there was alienation and temptation. One was used to carrying all the dangers alone, while the other was used to seeing pain and refused to give up his sincerity easily. Border crises are rife, and emergencies occur one after another. Avalanches, wounded people, and lurking hidden dangers push them to desperate situations again and again.
In times of crisis, they held each other's lives together and relied on each other in the wind and sand. Jiang Yubai's hard shell hides gentleness and protection, while Su Wan's calm exterior hides softness and compassion. The two went from being wary and testing, to slowly understanding the scars in each other's hearts, and seeing each other's unknown loneliness.
The road ahead is full of storms, responsibilities are on our shoulders, our family and country are in front of us, and our personal feelings can only be kept deep inside. Together they go through crises, face pain, and heal each other's long-standing loneliness. It's not a spectacular love at first sight, but a mutual support in desperate situations, and a two-way redemption in the long journey.
The storm will eventually subside and the sand will eventually settle. After the mountains and rivers were safe, they realized that despite all the storms in the world, luckily you were with them and they were able to ride it out together.
