The Bratty Young Master Becomes a Palace Slave (GB)

★ Female-dominant gender world, girl x boy, with male-style palace intrigue

Before ascending the throne, Mu Huaijiang traveled among the people as a painter and settled in Tangzhou. She became famous far and wide for her exceptional skill.

At the time, the most treasured young master in Tangzhou was the beloved son of the Xie family, Xie Yanzhi.

Xie Yanzhi and Mu Huaijiang first met at a riverside gallery. This unruly, spoiled young master had Mu Huaijiang brought back to his residence and used threats and tempting rewards to force her to paint him every day, and no one else.

From then on, Mu Huaijiang painted countless portraits of the domineering, unreasonable Xie Yanzhi. But young Master Xie was headstrong and dissatisfied. One day, in a sudden fit of passion, he tried to force Mu Huaijiang to take his surname and marry into his family.

Mu Huaijiang decided she couldn’t take it anymore. She snapped her paintbrush in two and ran away.

When they met again, Mu Huaijiang wore a brilliant imperial robe and had become the supreme ruler. Meanwhile, Xie Yanzhi, once the celebrated legitimate son of the Xie family in Tangzhou, had been reduced to the lowest of palace servants, washing clothes.

Clumsy Xie Yanzhi had ruined his master’s clothes while washing them. He was kneeling in the snow as an old eunuch punished him, his hands and feet red from the cold.

The imperial procession passed by. The young man risked his life to stop it and knelt before the Phoenix Emperor, Mu Huaijiang, choking back tears as he said, “Sister Huaijiang, don’t you want Yanzhi anymore?”
