Host: Tell your partner how you feel about him in one sentence. Meng: You're the best in my heart. Meng: He's shy, so I'll say it for him. I'm the hardest thing in his heart. Host: Describe each other in one word. Meng: I'm the top, he's the bottom. Jiao: I'm strong, he's weak. Host: Declare your love in one word. Meng: Strip. Jiao: Get lost! Love Like a Hook in Deep Waters (Duet) (Man 1:) You say you don't understand love, Like a dragonfly skimming the water, Your feelings are thinner than your transparent wings. I'm a little unwilling To use silence as a remedy. I'm poisoned by you, yet I have to pretend I'm calm. (Man 2:) We both have a past, And we've both laid our hearts bare. We waver, unsure whether to go on. The past doesn't mean we were wrong, And time never stops moving. I let go only to hold on to the one meant for me. *Repeat: (Man 1:) Love like a hook in deep waters, How can I reel in your heart? I don't dare let you see the longing in my eyes. (Man 2:) Love like a hook in deep waters, Slowly, quietly drawing near. For you, I'll give it all the patience I have.* (Man 1:) I'll make you believe. (Man 2:) I'll make you believe. (Together:) That low, slow heat can temper true gold. Thanks to niniright for the illustration. First of all, I'm so happy we managed to make the drama. It was all thanks to everyone's hard work. Love Like a Hook in Deep Waters is my favorite danmei novel, bar none, and Jiao Zan is my favorite character too. So thank you to the author for giving me such an adorable character and story! Then there's getting my idol and friend Yang Dongxu to voice Jiao Zan, getting Xiao Kong and Bai Ye to sing the ending song, getting the lovely Luo Yu Sang Chen to join the crew as our post-production artist, and getting my favorite illustrator, A Ga. I'm so happy! Overall, the first episode turned out pretty well. There are some shortcomings, but I was busy with schoolwork and couldn't give it my full attention. When I come back next year, I'll do a better job with the rest of the drama. I also have to thank Ling Long, who handled both the script and the editing. It wasn't easy! Finally, thanks to Cheng Feng Gui Qu. While I couldn't get online, he took on the deputy planner's job of contacting everyone. It must have been exhausting! Finally, I want to say that voice acting is something I love, and Love Like a Hook is my favorite story too [I already said that = =b]. So as long as you're doing something that makes you happy and voicing a story you love most, that's the best thing of all. Thanks to the whole crew, and best wishes to all humanity!
