[The tone is set for now. I'll keep revising the blurb.]
Kuang Lan lives in the [Lower District], a place where violence is everywhere.
Every day is an endless cycle of fighting and killing, and she is gradually growing restless and sick of it.
Until...
[Don't worry, System. All I have to do is win over the villain with love and stop her from opposing the protagonist, right? Easy. What's the villain called again?]
[Kuang as in crazy? Lan as in ripples? Oh, Kuang Lan.]
Kuang Lan accidentally heard the thoughts of a transmigrator from another world, and discovered that she was the evil villain in some power fantasy novel about a strong female lead.
She heard that early on, she would burn, kill, loot, and commit every kind of evil. Later, after catching the protagonist, she'd nearly tortured and skinned them alive.
That couldn't be right.
Kuang Lan didn't consider herself a good person, but she wasn't some third-rate thug who killed innocent people for no reason either.
To test the transmigrator's claims, she turned her attention for the first time to the [Upper District], where people from the Lower District were strictly forbidden to set foot.
After killing the transmigrator, Kuang Lan ventured alone into the Upper District.
She and the protagonist seemed to share some invisible, fated attraction, and they soon met for the first time.
"Kuang Lan, get back to your Lower District!"
The protagonist's hostility made no sense to Kuang Lan, until she discovered the secret they had hidden away so deeply:
A forbidden experiment called [Breeding Between Two Females].
Kuang Lan suddenly understood why she had become the villain, and why she and the protagonist were destined to fight to the death.
The Lower District was chaotic and violent, but women held all the power.
For centuries, to cater to women's preferences, men had been deliberately made slender, weak, and useless.
To the women of the Lower District, they were nothing but parasites with no value beyond reproduction.
Kuang Lan often thought that if two women could have children, that would be great. The air would be so much nicer if they didn't have to raise two more parasites.
Now, in the civilized Upper District, where equality for all was promoted, she discovered that her fantasy might actually become reality.
"Kuang Lan! The world doesn't belong to women alone!"
The protagonist tried to stop Kuang Lan from stubbornly going her own way, but no matter how they struggled, they were no match for her.
"Without women, this world wouldn't exist. So why can't the world belong to women alone?"
Kuang Lan seized the protagonist's power and revealed the experiment to the public.
The Upper and Lower Districts fell into chaos. Women were bewildered, and men were terrified.
Just as Kuang Lan thought a new era was about to begin, the whole world suddenly changed beyond recognition.
Countless lines of code raced through the sky, sometimes mixed with filthy, bright-red insults.
All kinds of chaotic, overpowered hero systems descended upon ordinary men, giving them the means to throw their weight around.
As Kuang Lan struggled to understand what was happening, the protagonist, powerless to turn things around, said quietly:
"Kuang Lan, do you really think this is a power fantasy with a strong female lead?"
[Reader's Notes]
1. Futuristic alternate setting, unusual worldbuilding, plot-driven.
2. The male lead is the transmigrator who died.
3. This blurb captures the heart of the story.
Theme: Equality for all
