He Can't Possibly Be a Green Tea

Yan Bu Wen has spent twenty-seven years devoted to architectural design and living single. If nothing unexpected happens, she'll spend the next twenty-seven years the same way. Until her younger brother couldn't stand to watch any longer and secretly introduced her to a handsome young man he knew. At first, the two got along well. They might even have started a relationship after the young man finished his college entrance exams. But before that little spark could catch fire, someone came along and snuffed it out. Yan Bu Wen had never met anyone like Wen Zhi Li. She was strong-willed and didn't respond well to force. Yet when she met him, she couldn't bring herself to say no. On the surface, everyone thought they were mere acquaintances. Wen Zhi Li looked so pure and wholesome that even Yan Bu Wen was almost convinced they weren't close. But in private... "If only you really were my big sister." "Every time I see you, I fall for you all over again." He played innocent and used every trick in the book. Even on the rare occasion when Yan Bu Wen drank herself into a stupor... She woke groggily in the morning and opened her eyes to see Wen Zhi Li gazing gently at her, his eyes red with embarrassment. Yan Bu Wen had long seen through him, and her mind raced through eight hundred possible ways to handle the situation. But Wen Zhi Li didn't make a fuss. He simply let his bathrobe slip slowly from his shoulder, making her open her eyes wide and take a good look at the deep red plum blossoms scattered across his skin. Then he said: "It's all right, big sister." "I don't blame you." Later... "Zhi Li, I need to make this clear." "I have my career, my family, and my ambitions." "Romance can never be the only thing in my life." "I know, big sister." "I only need to be the one and only love in your life." "That's enough for me." [Reading Guide] 1. Your mileage may vary. 2.
