There are completed novels in my author column, with plenty to read. Feel free to check them out.

Yu Huan had been unlucky since childhood, the sort of person who would get a tooth stuck in her mouth even when drinking cold water. Winning a prize was completely out of the question. Then a System came to her, and Yu Huan learned that her endless bad luck was because her good karma had been borrowed in advance.

Now the System was giving her a chance to earn good karma. All she had to do was enter small worlds and complete a few simple supporting-character tasks. She would earn karma bit by bit, and once she had enough, the rest of her life would go smoothly.

Yu Huan had had enough of days when even her instant noodles came without a seasoning packet, so she readily agreed to the System's demands. The only thing the System hadn't told her was that her bad luck would follow her into the small worlds too.

Scene One:

Yu Huan had barely managed to get into the banquet and was helping herself to the food and drink at the table. Thirsty, she absentmindedly picked up a glass nearby and drank the wine inside.

The heroine: "That's mine. Never mind, I hadn't drunk any anyway."

Yu Huan: "? You mean I drank the drugged wine?"

Scene Two:

In the middle of the chaos, Yu Huan was hiding in a safe corner when she suddenly stumbled. A sharp pain shot through her shoulder.

The heroine: "So my junior sister is the only one who truly cares about me."

Yu Huan: "??" She had somehow taken a hidden weapon meant for the heroine, and Yu Huan looked utterly bewildered.

Scene Three:

Yu Huan was walking along as usual when a basketball suddenly slammed into her, making her see stars. After a moment of dizziness, she realized she had fallen onto someone.

The heroine: "Thanks for blocking the basketball for me, classmate. Are you okay?"

Yu Huan: "??? When did I decide to block a basketball?"

Theme: Hard work always pays off
