Matsuda Stares at Me Like a Dog

Xiao Zhi Lixu had a crush on Matsuda Jinpei for ten years, but sadly, she never got the chance to confess before he died in the line of duty.

Three years after Matsuda's death, she was still optimistic, cheerful, and sunny. It was just her longing for love that had faded away along with the Ferris wheel that was destroyed.

Before leaving to study abroad, her cousin entrusted his newly adopted Border Collie to her for a while.

The Border Collie's name was Xiao Er. He had purple eyes, was lively and affectionate, and often wagged his tail like a propeller.

One day, Xiao Er brought home a new friend: a little black Shiba Inu.

The Shiba Inu usually looked cool and aloof, but whenever he played with Xiao Er, he would grin and show a sweet smile.

It was so sweet that every night Xiao Zhi Lixu would carry the little Shiba Inu to bed to cuddle and kiss him before they fell asleep together.

Keeping pets can be addictive. Before long, at the urging of her best friend Miyamoto Yumi, Xiao Zhi Lixu adopted a Ragdoll cat, too.

The Ragdoll had blue eyes, was gentle and affectionate, and even blushed when she cuddled and kissed it.

Xiao Zhi Lixu was completely charmed all over again. Now it was the Ragdoll she carried to bed for cuddles and kisses before they fell asleep together.

Then one day, she noticed the now-neglected Shiba Inu staring at her with a strange look...

1. Matsuda Jinpei is the love interest. Most of the time, he's a dog (a real, fluffy dog), but he gradually turns human later on.

2. A sweet everyday-life story. No Black Organization plotline, though there may be a few short cases.
