Also known as Contract Marriage Becomes Reality
A stern, gloomy business tycoon who secretly has an inferiority complex and cries easily VS an upright, kind-hearted rookie lawyer
A story of mutual healing through a contract marriage
From a marriage of convenience to a life together in true love. When political scheming collides with heartfelt sincerity, two lonely souls heal each other as they fight against their families' plots.
Lin Yunchuan's seriously ill grandmother wants to see him settle down, while Xu Xingyi urgently needs an astronomical sum of money after her family falls on hard times. He hands her a contract: Pretend to be my wife for a year, and I'll cover your expenses.
She signs her name, unaware that fate has already filled this deal with twists and turns.
"Clause One: We sleep in separate rooms and don't interfere in each other's private lives."
Yet every night, she hears him stifling groans as his legs cramp in pain.
"Clause Two: We play the loving couple on certain occasions."
Yet he refuses to reveal her identity publicly.
"Clause N: Our relationship automatically ends after one year."
When misunderstandings and conflicts erupt and their contract marriage is exposed, she presents him with an agreement and an IOU. The man in the wheelchair grips the divorce papers tight. "Xu Xingyi, you broke the contract... I never gave you permission to enter my heart."
A marriage that began as a transaction, and two hearts afraid to confess their love. When the truth and the schemes come to light at the same time, whoever crosses the line first loses.
1. A business-warfare mystery with a groveling pursuit of the wife.
2. The male lead uses a wheelchair, and his legs will not recover. Proceed with caution if that's a concern.
3. I'm a new writer, and this is my first novel. Please go easy on me, and feel free to share your thoughts.
Disabled Male Lead | Marriage Before Love | Mutual Healing | Sweet and Angsty | Family Schemes
This is my first novel. I'm a hobbyist with a non-writing job in real life, and I have a few personal preferences, so I wrote the delicate romance I wanted to read. It has plenty of sweetness and angst, but may not be that intense.
I haven't signed a contract yet. The story of Trapped in the Galaxy is complete on my end, but I need to release my backlog gradually. When I started, I didn't know any better and wrote two chapters for every one I posted, so there are some typos and details that could have been handled better. I've gone back to check and fill in the gaps. I hope you'll share your thoughts, help spread the word, and support the novel.
Depending on how things go, this story may stay free throughout. I'm mainly looking at readers' feedback on my work for motivation. I've already started my second novel.
Next up: Perfect Flow
When a perfectionist designer meets a disabled young scientist with a closed-off heart, who will let down their guard first?
"What you call accessible design is nothing but the arrogance of the able-bodied."
Up-and-coming designer Liang Shuang faces the biggest challenge of her career: designing a luxurious single-story home for Qi Ji, a scientist who uses a wheelchair.
At their first meeting, the man's sharp gaze seems ready to pierce every professional facade she has.
"If you don't even dare try living in a wheelchair for a week, don't talk to me about human-centered design."
To win the project, Liang Shuang begins a seven-day wheelchair challenge:
Like being unable to reach the counter at a cafe.
Like being stung by the pitying looks of passersby.
Like discovering that so-called "standard accessibility" is all a lie.
When life is full of obstacles at every turn, how can she put herself in her client's shoes and design a better home for him?
The spark that began with a clash between client and designer will ultimately break through every barrier, seen and unseen.
"Liang Shuang, you didn't design a house. You designed the normal life I never dared hope for."
Professional Designer x Disabled Tech Prodigy
Every detail of the space conceals a message of the heart.
He teaches her what accessibility really means, and she leads him back to a world filled with warmth.
"The best kind of love is when we can both be entirely ourselves."
You never know: the designer who is always revising blueprints until the early hours may be secretly planting a spring full of flowers at a height your wheelchair can reach.
Theme: Love doesn't follow reason, and marriage can be the start of love.
You can add v to update them all, big
When will there be a sweeter extra episode~Looking forward to it~
It's finished, please update the next one soon^
Why hasn't it been updated yet? It's no problem to join V. It's so painful to wait.
I came across the recommendation on Xiaohongshu and read it immediately. Looking forward to the update!
I thought it would be over so soon, but it turns out that my love rival is coming, so look forward to it 😏
Generally speaking, the writing is very good, and the storyline is also very good. It is the type I like to watch. However, some adjectives appear repeatedly, which makes people feel boring, such as the sudden contraction of pupils, the shadow cast by eyelashes, etc.
What a treasured author, looking forward to the next one
Finished spreading flowers!!! The next book has been pre-received, update soon
Can it be faster? One chapter a day is not enough.
