Reading notes:

1. The top has had experiences with other female insects. After all, this is a story about stealing someone's spouse, so there has to be a spouse to steal, haha. So the top isn't sexually inexperienced; he has only been intimate with the two bottoms. The bottom is completely inexperienced. The relationships are one-on-one at different stages, and in the end, only one person ends up with the top. I guarantee a happy ending, but I can't make that promise for the secondary couples. All I can say is that there won't be angst for angst's sake; everything will be reasonable.

2. There's a large ensemble cast and lots of different pairings, including a powerful person stealing someone's spouse (the top?), a father and son who fall for the same male insect, and male-male romance. Main couple: a scheming military female insect and staunch male-insect supremacist who thinks he'll never fancy a male insect x a truly aloof beauty who is gentle on the outside but strong-willed within. There will be a groveling arc.

3. A self-indulgent work with plenty of melodrama and cliches, and major supporting characters will die 🙏 The plot will be full of twists and wild ideas. If it stops making you happy, just click the X in the top right corner~

4. This is a fictional setting unrelated to reality. Please don't apply it to real life~

5. Although the story depicts power oppression in insect society, this is an unavoidable consequence of the worldbuilding. The author and protagonists criticize unreasonable social structures and bad customs.

Theme: Life is precious, but love is more precious. If freedom is at stake, give up both.
