You Can Have My Body and Heart, But You'd Better Take Responsibility!

Huang Fei made a man cry. Not the way you're thinking. Here's what happened: She's a jade demon with profound cultivation, but her skin is a little fragile. To improve its quality, she decided to get herself some mermaid pearls. Mermaid pearls are made from merfolk's tears. But merfolk are cool-headed, reserved, and emotionally stable. In principle, they don't cry. Unless... after willingly doing that with someone, they've given themselves to them body and soul. It's like turning on a faucet. Hurt their feelings even a little, and they can cry enough to upgrade your home into a billion-yuan mansion. So Huang Fei set her sights on her nemesis. Her nemesis was Luo Zheyu, twenty-seven years old, tall and handsome, elegant, and fond of swimming. They ran shops on the same antique street. She sold jade, and he sold pearls. They'd waged business warfare. She drilled a hole in the butt of the Pixiu statue at his front desk; he killed her money tree by pouring boiling water on it; she hired a feng shui master to claim his shop faced a bow-shaped road, so anyone who bought something there would lose money. They'd grown to hate each other over money, with a pure and unadulterated hatred, until Huang Fei discovered he was a merman. Well, in that case, let's do that. - Luo Zheyu fell in love with a human. Her name was Huang Fei. Her looks and personality were exactly his type, and she'd even saved his life. She was practically a little fairy. Afraid that his demon identity would scare her, he kept it a secret and quietly looked after her. He helped her clear her financial luck and even killed the tree-root spirit pretending to be her money tree. Then one day, she told him she liked him. Overjoyed, he entered into a relationship with her that night, treating her with the utmost care and tenderness. Afterward, he happily imagined their future together and even figured out what to give her for their eightieth wedding anniversary. The next morning, faced with an empty bed, he realized that her affection had been a lie, and she wasn't even human. - Later, Huang Fei opened that door, and countless mermaid pearls poured out like seawater, rising to her chest. Behind her, a man's deep voice made a bitter threat through gritted teeth (?): "You can have the mermaid pearls, but you can't just leave me behind, can you?" "You can trick my body and my heart, but you have to take responsibility, too, right?"
