Ji Shuqing was a child cursed from the moment she was born.
Her mother had her after an affair and abandoned her on the doorstep. On top of that, Ji Shuqing inherited all the "sins" from her mother's previous life, the life her mother had run away from. She was born with a weak life force and should have died in infancy, but a deity's blessing gave her a pair of golden eyes. Protected by divine power, Ji Shuqing slowly grew up. No one knew the true origin of her eyes, and no one wanted to know.
This unusual trait cast a deep shadow over Ji Shuqing's entire childhood. Her older sister, Ji Shuling, transferred her to the Technical College, where Ji Shuqing became its fourth new student.
She thought she would once again spend her school life without friends, treated as an outsider, just as before. But when she arrived, she found that compared to her, the teachers, students, and even the entire school seemed far more abnormal.
"You don't remember me?" the white-haired boy asked with a grin.
Ji Shuqing blinked. "Who are you, classmate?"
"You ungrateful woman," he went on. "Who said you could forget me? Hurry up and remember."
And so, on her very first day, Ji Shuqing attracted the attention of a classmate who looked like a delinquent.
A relatively lighthearted slice-of-life romance, though it has its serious moments too. The romance is the main focus, with everyday monster-fighting and leveling up. Primarily told from the heroine's point of view.
