Food and Dungeons

[Blurb to be improved]

A small tavern has opened in the dungeon. Word is, the owner is a mysterious beauty from the East.

His unique cooking can give food certain buff effects, and he never turns down a party invitation.

There's just one catch:

Only the owner gets to decide when the party disbands.

One day, a new party invited him to join them.

As usual, Shan Shiyu laid out three conditions:

- Don't treat me as a fighter.

- I get all the ingredients.

- I get the wish-granting opportunity deep in the dungeon, too.

After making his demands, Shan Shiyu prepared for the usual argument.

But the tall, broad-shouldered man in front of him simply fell silent, then picked up all the supplies Shan Shiyu would need.

“When are we leaving?”

-

The party with the best chance of clearing this dungeon has been poached twice, and is about to drop from the top tier to the second tier.

With their next dungeon run approaching, one teammate finally suggested:

“Why don't we try asking that tavern owner?”

-

Any new party needs time to get used to working together.

Midway through:

Teammate A: Honestly, ever since you joined us, I've thought you were pretty high-maintenance.

Teammate B: Exactly. Our captain's a big shot, but you order him around like he's your servant every day.

Shan Shiyu (without pausing): You two, wash and peel the ingredients as well.

Later on:

Teammate A: Shanshan, this is a new goat's-milk soap. I heard it's great for your skin, so I snatched up the whole lot for you!

Teammate B: Where's the captain? Did you make him prep the ingredients? He's so big and clumsy, how could he do that properly? Leave it to me!

Shan Shiyu (coolly): You could flatter me until the end of time, and there still wouldn't be an extra meal today.

Theme: Love life, love good food
