People often say that one must endure great hardship to rise above others. That saying doesn't apply to Yun Tingyu. He became a person of distinction without having to suffer at all.

The cultivation world says that the Yun in Yun Tingyu comes from the Yun family of Jiangnan, and also from the Yunting Sword Sect, a fitting name for a man whose life has gone so smoothly.

There was nothing in the cultivation world that could trouble Yun Tingyu. He was the youngest legitimate son of the Yun family of Jiangnan, spoiled from childhood. He began cultivating at a young age, then became the most doted-on junior disciple at the Yunting Sword Sect. Later, after becoming the Seventh Elder, both of his disciples were prodigies who inspired envy.

But then both his disciples betrayed the sect. One returned to the demon clan, while the other fell into demonic cultivation.

Not long afterward, his senior brothers and sisters also turned against one another, each harboring their own schemes and throwing the cultivation world into chaos.

They even attacked the Yunting Sword Sect.

In the end, Yun Tingyu died.

Yun Tingyu sat pensively on his soft bed, utterly baffled.

How had everyone changed so suddenly?

So he decided he would no longer be a clueless sweetheart. He would get to the bottom of things.

First on the list was his eldest disciple, who had just joined the sect and was being very well-behaved around him.

Having lived through his previous life, Yun Tingyu could see at a glance that his eldest disciple had been putting on an act all along. He wasn't well-behaved at all!

1. A niche story, with my own take on the cultivation world and lots of original worldbuilding.

2. Master-disciple romance. Master is the gong, beautiful gong and strong shou, weak gong (if you can't accept this, leave immediately!).

3. Yun Tingyu is the gong! No switching, no reversing!!!
