My Sister Is the Female Lead of a Period Novel (GB)

Shen Yun learned in a dream that her world was a period drama full of angst, and that her younger sister, Shen Qing, was the heroine. She would be forced into marriage by the male lead, whose surname was Chen, then abused in body and spirit, spending every day and night in tears as the story went on.

Two male educated youths arrived in the village. One was named Chen Yan, the other Chen Yan.

The first was gentle-spoken and fair-faced, while the second was taciturn, gloomy, and sharp-eyed.

It was obvious who the suspect was.

Besides constantly telling her sister that "men can't be trusted," every time Shen Yun saw the suspect, Chen Yan, she would glare at him and roll up her sleeves, ready for a fight at any moment.

Thankfully, her sister seemed to hate Chen Yan, too.

After being reborn, Shen Qing heard her sister tell her every day that "men can't be trusted." She nodded along while plotting how to stab her former "husband," Chen Yan, a few more times to vent her anger. Getting even with Chen Yan by hitting each other's sore spots in her previous life hadn't been satisfying enough. This time, she was going to scheme against him until he was reduced to dust, then scatter his ashes into the sea.

While tripping Chen Yan up, Shen Qing noticed that her sister really hated Chen Yan.

She didn't know why her sister hated Chen Yan, but her sister must have had her reasons, so Shen Qing looked down on him, too.

Then one day, Shen Qing realized that Chen Yan seemed to have some unspoken feelings for her sister.

Shen Qing: ?

Shen Qing: You said nothing about him, just focused on dealing with Chen Yan, and forgot about this one, huh?

Theme: Don't mistake one person for another.
