Forced to Surrender

Blurb One:

Jing Yu had a dream for the first time in ages. She dreamed of a man, an extraordinarily beautiful man.

He wore pink robes and white boots, his body wrapped in talismanic runes. A gauzy veil hat hung to his waist. The wind blew, and he turned around, revealing a pair of smiling eyes beneath the veil.

He smiled at her so radiantly, his gaze fixed on her with such intensity. He came over, his smile tender, his eyes brimming with such damp, loving affection that it nearly drowned her.

He bent down and whispered, "Qingqing..."

Qingqing? Who was Qingqing?

Jing Yu suddenly woke and stared up at the canopy.

She sat up and looked toward the foot of the bed. The beauty from her dream sat there, looking trapped. His gauzy pink robes were in tatters, leaving only his clear eyes, which quietly watched her.

Oh, she remembered. The person in her dream was her master, and Qingqing was his junior sister.

She'd thought he had run off with his junior sister again. Thank goodness he was still here.

Jing Yu was exhausted, so she lay back down. The talisman disc by her pillow kept flashing, spitting out curses and calling her an ungrateful wretch, a bastard, a demonic cultivator who had betrayed her master and ancestors.

She couldn't care less. After all, Mei Yourong was the one who had provoked her first.

Blurb Two:

Mei Yourong had never imagined that someone who was too gentle could not play the male lead in a storybook.

But when he thought of the person who had stolen his junior sister, gloomy and starved for affection, wild and untamable, he had to admit that such a person did make a compelling protagonist.

So he chose to let go, to make the two of them happy, and to wander the mortal world alone.

He thought that now his tribulation of love was behind him, there would be no more obstacles on his path of cultivation. Ascension was just around the corner. Why not take advantage of his free time to accept a disciple and pass on his teachings?

Of all the people he met, he chose Jing Yu at a glance.

But he had no idea that his tribulation of love was only just beginning.

Reader's Guide:

* An anything-goes story, with a very focused male lead, in lethal quantities (important!)

1. The male lead is a genuinely gentle, beautiful man, but he's also extremely powerful. This character type is so niche that I couldn't find anything to read, so I'm writing my own. I have a feeling this will be a cold niche, so I'm gathering favorites in advance T T (No dark, brooding, lonely, affection-starved, or other popular traits.)

2. The female lead has all the popular traits: dark, brooding, lonely, and starved for affection.

3. There's a misunderstanding involving the male lead and his junior sister. It relates to the core premise and isn't explained in the blurb.

4. The female lead becomes the greatest under heaven but loses love X

5. The male lead will fall for her.
