Yuan Yueyue, an ordinary high school girl, was forced to bind herself to the "Reconstruction" System and thrown into a high-risk setting.
From then on, she had to leave behind her old life as a carefree, lazy slacker and spend her days running around to stay alive.
According to the System, she could earn "Reconstruction Points" by restoring buildings damaged in various accidents.
Every point of "Reconstruction" could buy her one more day of life. The points could also be exchanged for currency and items in the System's shop.
The catch was that repairing an ordinary house only earned one "Reconstruction Point". Just how long was she supposed to keep this up?
Luckily, the reasonably reliable System pointed her toward a clear path: secretly follow the pillars of each world and restore the homes damaged in accidents after they passed through. That might earn her a huge amount of "Reconstruction Points."
So from the start, Yuan Yueyue chose to go to Beika Town, where Shinichi Kudo, tagged "Trouble follows him wherever he goes," was based.
She had to admit, he really was a walking calamity. By following him, she easily earned enough "Reconstruction Points" to get through her first day.
It was just that no one had told her she'd need to use "Reconstruction Points" to get all her living expenses, too.
Well, what could she do...
So she began looking at Shinichi Kudo with an increasingly fervent gaze, as if he were a walking treasure.
[Scene One]
Shortly after taking APTX4869 and turning into a child, Shinichi Kudo, now going by the name Conan Edogawa, heard from Sonoko Suzuki that a new transfer student in their class had specifically come to see him.
Before she had even met him, she had approached his childhood friend Ran Mouri, and insisted on joining them every time they went out.
He could even see her at the scene of a confrontation with the Black Organization.
His breath caught. What a suspicious time to show up, and what an intense stare.
Could she... be a member of the Black Organization?
[Scene Two]
As a sorcerer who never held back on missions or cared about property damage, and couldn't even be bothered to put up a Curtain, Satoru Gojo was used to getting chewed out by his teacher, Masamichi Yaga, after every mission.
But after he once again left a building in ruins and strolled away, Yaga actually praised him.
"Well-behaved and obedient, willing to mend his ways." Was that really how people described him?
After being praised again and earning strange looks from his classmates, he resolved to catch the little thief secretly restoring the scene and clear his name.
If this kept up, Geto and Shoko would think he was all talk and actually a well-behaved little boy.
But when he saw the black-haired girl who was clearly doing good deeds, yet somehow gave off a furtive air, he was torn.
Could she... be one of the old guard's agents, sent to drive a wedge into their school?
[Scene Three]
Dazai Osamu had long heard of the anonymous ability user in Tokyo who quietly helped maintain order after disasters.
Then one day, that ability user came to Yokohama, and he decided to test her true intentions himself.
But when he saw the black-haired girl ignore his attempt to drown himself and even suggest he try something more extreme, Dazai Osamu fell silent.
Could he... have picked the wrong person? Was this woman before him not Tokyo's savior?
After she was found out as the culprit behind the disaster-site restorations, Yuan Yueyue blinked and insisted she was innocent.
So what? Was doing good deeds against the law?
The brainy ones in each setting held their chins and pondered.
"Reconstruction" felt like it could do more than just repair buildings.
Wait, it seemed there were other ways to use it!
Reader Notice:
1. The tone leans comedic. The plot comes first, but there will also be romance. The male lead is undecided, but canon couples won't be broken up.
2. The heroine is a carefree slacker who takes life as it comes and has little desire to save others. Her only motivation is wanting to stay alive.
3. This is an ensemble story. The frequency of each setting will be managed, but the Tokyo setting will probably appear more often since that's where she lands.
4. OOC warning.
Theme: Look back on my past, and join me in welcoming spring.
