It wasn't until Yu Youshen was brought by his mother to a magnificent manor that he learned his half-sister's father was a fabulously wealthy tycoon.
His sister was born after the tycoon lost his wife, but because of the difference in their status, he had never acknowledged her.
Recently, the tycoon had shown signs of softening, and Yu Youshen's mother naturally wanted to seize the opportunity.
She believed the biggest obstacle to her and her daughter joining the tycoon's family was his only son, Wei Yuan. Perhaps if they could win Wei Yuan over, everything would go smoothly.
Using the excuse that an older brother ought to look after his younger brother, Yu Youshen's mother sent him to Wei Yuan.
But Wei Yuan refused to recognize Yu Youshen as his older brother. All he did was bully him.
For his mother and sister's sake, Yu Youshen endured it all.
As Wei Yuan grew older, he realized there were many ways to bully someone.
So he turned Yu Youshen into his plaything.
Wei Yuan only called Yu Youshen "Big Brother" when he was tormenting him.
"Big Brother, your eyes look so pretty when you cry. They're all red, like a goldfish."
