My name is Rin, and I'm a professional NPC. My main job is playing random background characters in various productions.
But the industry has been going through a slump lately, and the pay keeps shrinking. I have no choice but to pick up extra bit parts in more productions.
Sometimes I'm a victim in Mihua, showing up in productions with both red and black characters. Sometimes I work as a server carrying dishes or a cleaner sweeping the floors, and occasionally Vermouth takes over my identity.
Mihua really is a high-risk area. I made money in no time.
When I have free time, I go to Yokohama next door to play an ordinary person for some extra cash. Money comes quickly in Yokohama.
Sometimes I think it wouldn't be bad to be an ordinary student in Namimori, getting chased around by the disciplinary committee president. One word: safe!
In our line of work, the biggest taboo is doing the very thing we do for a living.
So, I'm getting off work!
That was the plan, anyway. But then...
"Don't go, Rin-chan! Without you, who's going to carry the plates in Mihua, sweep the streets of Mihua, and be Mihua's victim?" the Mihua consciousness wailed in anguish.
"You're so annoying, let go of my leg!"
"Without you, who's going to lead everyone in running away under the Mafia's noses, and who's going to repair Yokohama's buildings?"
"Without you, what will the Mafia do during the big brawl in Namimori? Who's going to take the hits for me?"
"That's enough! You consciousnesses are so annoying! I'm really getting off work!"
◆The CP is 270. It's not exactly a pure little sweet treat, but it's not an angst story either. It's an ordinary story told from the heroine's point of view, with the romance developing in the middle and later parts.

◆This is not a ship-picking story. Everyone except the male lead is platonic, and the whole story leans toward everyday life.
