I Have a Lot of Brothers Because I'm Face-Blind

[I'm in the hospital, and the what-if bonus chapters aren't finished yet. They don't affect the story, and I'll finish them when I'm feeling better. My next story will be The Tsundere Trope Is Out of Style! The blurb is below, or you can visit my author page.] /// More than ten years after crossing the dimensional barrier, I still couldn't tell manga characters apart by their faces. At first, I tried to identify people by their faces, but it didn't take long to realize that I was completely face-blind in both the real world and the world of fiction. With no other choice, I could only recognize people by their voices, hair color, build, and so on. And so things went like this... When I was in elementary school and met a certain famous detective, I said, “Big bro!” “I'm not your big brother!” “Black hair means you're my big brother!” When I saw an upperclassman carrying a tennis racket on the road, I said, “Big bro!” When I saw a certain high school detective at a crime scene, I said again, “Big bro!” When I got lost and met a kind policeman, for the 10,086th time, I said, “Big bro!” After all those mix-ups, I was so embarrassed I could've sunk into the floor. Before starting high school, I stared at my own big brother and studied him hundreds of times, silently swearing I wouldn't find myself another big brother in high school. But on the first day of school, I saw a black-haired upperclassman with a pompadour at the school gate and confidently walked up to him. “Big bro, your hairstyle is so cool today!” “Huh?” “Your voice is the same too. You're my big brother!” This time, there was no way I'd gotten it wrong! He was just wearing shoe lifts. I wasn't going to fall for that! This was a test from my big brother! *Everyone in the series mentioned survives. Bungo Stray Dogs and Detective Conan won't involve the main plot. The story mostly focuses on everyday life, with a female lead doted on by everyone. The romantic pairing will definitely be with the 18-year-old. Later bonus chapters will include what-if stories for two other characters. Feel free to skip them if you don't like that. *There will be OOC characterization. *The female lead is rather lazy, but not unhygienic. Her severe face blindness is due to unavoidable, unusual circumstances. Please don't read if that bothers you. ---Upcoming Story Blurb: [Written in third person] I've liked Sawada-kun next door for a long time. Even though he's a coward who cries when a Chihuahua scares him, I think he's super cute. I've done a lot to make him realize how I feel. For example, tutoring him because he never passes his exams, swooping in like a god from heaven to fight three people at once when others bully him, and racing all the way to school with him on my back when he's about to be late, so he won't get punished by the super-scary disciplinary committee chairman, and so on. But he never realized how I felt, and even gave me three “You're a good person” cards in return. I was crushed. The final straw was what Sawada-kun's teacher said. “Blond hair, tsundere, childhood friend... you've got all the losing-heroine traits. And did you know? The tsundere trope is out of style these days.” I admit it, that really broke me! I lost my head and went straight to confess to him. The good news: He said yes. The bad news: I'm good at unrequited love, but I don't know how to date. Theme: Love and peace
