In a remote corner of Shu, Su Changxi stood below the steps and looked at the tall, imposing man, legs spread as he leaned back in his armchair. "I need your help."
"Hmph." Xiao Fengzhang looked at the man now dressed in splendid robes and sneered. "Why should I? I'm a carefree prince now. What could be more comfortable?"
Still, his gaze eventually settled on Su Changxi's face. He really had grown more striking, beautiful enough to seem almost bewitching.
"Unless you crawl on your knees to my feet and beg me..."

Later, deep within the palace, in the most exalted of halls, Qianhua Hall.
Su Changxi's collar hung open, revealing bruises in shades of blue and red beneath. Holding a memorial in one hand, he propped himself against a small table and called lazily, "Suqing, come here."
The man clad in imperial robes, supreme ruler of the realm, crawled on his knees to Su Changxi's feet. He clasped his pale ankle and climbed inch by inch. "Jiaojiao, make Your Majesty hurt."
