Blurb: (Babies, my next book will be "Take Down This Cultivation World." Please add it to your reading list!)
Mo Chimu, once the senior disciple of an immortal sect, sacrificed himself for the people and perished alongside the demon who had terrorized the world for a thousand years.
The good news: He was too tough to die, and the demon who had plagued the world for a millennium was finally gone.
The bad news: He had only three or four years left to live, and his spiritual power was so damaged that he was now a cripple. A once-great hero had fallen! Worse, the world had forgotten the years when the demon existed, and everyone had forgotten that Mo Chimu had ever existed, too.
He couldn't return to his sect or recognize his family. Being alive was no different from being dead.
Luckily, the woman who found him and brought him to her teahouse let him stay. From then on, he became her younger brother and had a place to live.
Mo Chimu was now no different from an ordinary mortal. He didn't want to talk about the horrific events of his past, either. He simply enjoyed the peace and leisure of a prosperous age, waiting for his body and soul to perish and for the world to have no more connection to the demon.
But he only got to enjoy three years of the good life before evil creatures appeared again where he lived, attracting the attention of a major sect. And wouldn't you know it, the group was led by an old acquaintance with whom he'd had a complicated history: Yan Hengxiu, the foremost spiritual cultivator of their generation.
Mo Chimu had been this guy's nominal senior disciple for a few years, and had conned him out of plenty of money. That would have been bad enough, but back then he'd also loved teasing him, often making him so angry he was on the verge of tears.
Mo Chimu: My creditor's here. Whatever you do, don't remember me.
Yan Hengxiu: Stares.
And just as Mo Chimu feared, Yan Hengxiu latched onto him. The current him could crush Mo Chimu like an ant, so Mo Chimu quickly took advantage of a moment when he wasn't paying attention, knocked him out with a handful of scented powder, and fled!

Afterward, Mo Chimu couldn't figure out why this guy had pinned him down, bitten his neck until they were both lost in a haze, and left them covered in saliva.
Yan Hengxiu's eyes were full of passion. "Are you going to run again?"
Mo Chimu, in tears: "You mean from the greatest spiritual cultivator under heaven?"
PS:
1. The top is secretly in love with him, but was too young to express his feelings, so he was misunderstood. After losing him once, he'll fight and scheme to win him back, act like a green tea, and put on a show. He's cool and aloof in front of others, but tender to the bottom to the extreme.
2. The bottom is emotionally dense and doesn't realize he's in love.
3. They absolutely dote on each other.
The Beauty's Handbook for Taming a Mad Dog
Ruthless queen bottom x biting mad-dog top
In the years after the twenty-fifth year of Jinghe, border warfare and rebellions raged. Yet the capital was full of powerful families, corrupt ministers held sway at court, and the people had suffered for ages under these parasites.
Su Changxi thought so, too. He returned to the center of power to fight them and strive for peace and prosperity, only to discover that the greatest parasite in the world was actually the sovereign, revered by all the people, deep within the imperial palace.
Replace one corrupt minister with another, or thousands of them, and nothing would change. So he would seize all the power in the realm for himself!
In the forty-third year of Jinghe, the Crown Prince died. Four high ministers set out from the capital to bring back the princes who had been sent to distant fiefs.
In a remote corner of Shu, Su Changxi looked up from beneath the steps at the imposing man sitting back in a round-backed chair, legs spread wide. "I need your help."
"Hmph." Xiao Fengzhang looked at the man now dressed in splendid robes and sneered. "Why should I? I'm living the carefree life of a prince. Why would I give that up?"
Still, his eyes lingered on Su Changxi's face. He'd grown even more striking, so beautiful he seemed almost demonic.
"Unless you crawl over to my feet on your knees and beg me..."

Later, deep within the imperial palace, in the most exalted Qianhua Hall.
Su Changxi's collar hung open, his skin beneath marked with red and blue bruises. He held a memorial in one hand, propping it against a small table, his expression languid. "Su Qing, come here."
The man clad in imperial robes, sovereign of all under heaven, crawled on his knees to Su Changxi's feet and clasped his pale ankle, inching his way upward. "Jiaojiao, make me hurt."
