On the Compatibility of Ex-Wives and Haunted Houses

Lin Yuzhou is a forensic examiner. After divorcing her childhood sweetheart and ex-wife, Luo Ke, she moved into a long-abandoned mansion.

They say the mansion's previous owner died an accidental death, and every month on the fifteenth, sobbing can be heard inside.

Everyone who has ever entered went mad without exception, then died one after another within a month.

Heartbroken, disillusioned, more resentful than a ghost, Lin Yuzhou: "No one is allowed to become a monster after the founding of the nation. That goes for corpses, too. I want to see who's so brazenly breaking the law!"

So on the next fifteenth, beneath a full moon, she caught a disfigured corpse hiding in the wardrobe.

Lin Yuzhou: "What?! There really is one!!!"

Unexpectedly, the female ghost didn't try to hurt her. She turned and ran instead. You'd think Lin Yuzhou was the ghost.

Later, after investigating, Lin Yuzhou found a severely decomposed corpse under the bed.

Tests revealed that the dead woman was none other than her ex-wife, Luo Ke.

Lin Yuzhou was thunderstruck, as if struck by lightning.

Until the day she died, Luo Ke believed Lin Yuzhou didn't love her.

Lin Yuzhou:

I left you a fortune because I didn't want you to suffer, not so you could go die in some godforsaken corner!

How did you die? Tell me, and I'll avenge you!

A ghost marriage? No way! You were mine in life, and you'll be my ghost in death!

Oh, the divorce papers? Then the marriage was never really over to begin with.

Obsessive, love-struck Lin Yuzhou x dramatic, love-struck Luo Ke, who thinks everyone but her wife deserves to die, an incredibly powerful female ghost
