The emperor always suspected the prince wanted to take the throne. He arranged a Hongmen banquet to test him, claiming he'd been ill lately and asking if the prince would take over court affairs. But the prince replied with utmost sincerity, "No. I want to build things."

The advisors were convinced the prince wanted to be emperor. They prepared everything and tried to force him to don the imperial robes. The prince tossed the dragon robe aside and said coldly, "I told you, I want to build things, not become emperor."

The prince couldn't understand why they thought that way. He said helplessly, "I just want to build things. Why won't anyone believe me?"

The great general hurried back from the frontier. He had always thought the prince was a smiling schemer, all an act. Just as he was about to hand the emperor the dirt he'd dug up on the prince, his enemies pursued him and he fell into the water.

He lost his memory, and the prince rescued him.

Seeing the general's bewildered expression, the prince smiled faintly. "You, come build things with me."

The general was dazzled by that smile and nodded without thinking. "All right..."

Whenever he remembered that moment later, his heart raced and his cheeks flushed. The prince's smile had been so beautiful.

But to the prince, it was simply: So this is the general the System said could speed up the development project?

The prince gazed at the general, who seemed "a little dim," and sighed. Never mind. As long as I finish building things, I can go home. Hmm, what should I do tomorrow?
