The Frail Cat Top Took a Human

Jiang Yanche, male, twenty-two years old.

He had just graduated from university and was about to go out and celebrate when a truck sent him flying halfway there.

*

He opened his eyes again. He was reborn.

[Welcome to the New Century Animal World, year 2050.]

"What the hell! That... that dog has legs?"

"Why does that person have cat ears?"

Jiang Yanche fainted from shock.

*

When he woke again, the more he thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed. He tried everything he could to get home.

As soon as Jiang Yanche stepped outside, he saw a kitten lying on the road, barely alive.

"Meow..."

He looked down, stunned. It was a very beautiful white Persian cat.

The kitten was covered in blood, its mouth split open, and both of its pink paws were injured. It whimpered softly in his arms, looking so pitiful.

Jiang Yanche never expected that he had rescued a cat that could transform into a person. He found a place to stay and took tender care of it for three days and nights. Then the Persian cat transformed into a person right in front of him: a very handsome, beautiful person.

"What's your name? How old are you?"

"Meow~~ My name is Huo Chenli, and I'm eighteen this year."

Suddenly, a pair of white cat ears appeared on his head. He rubbed against Jiang Yanche's arm. "Meow~ I'll repay you~"

Jiang Yanche: "What??"

Then the cat got clingy with him. "You saved my life, so I have to repay you by giving myself to you."

Jiang Yanche was so startled that he threw the cat away. The kitten reverted to its original form, gasped loudly, and lay on the ground meowing before starting to cough up blood again.

He hurriedly took the cat to the hospital, where he learned that the kitten was frail and in poor health.

The doctor asked, "What breed are you? How did you hide your animal form so well?"

Jiang Yanche's heart jolted. He immediately said, "Uh, I'm a cat too. I'm his older brother, and my rank is high enough that I can hide my animal form."

The kitten pricked up its ears, scampered over, jumped onto him, and called, "Big brother!"

That was it. He was completely stuck with the cat.

Jiang Yanche realized that every time he came into contact with him, the scent of an animal person rubbed off on him. So all the animals here thought he was an animal too. They didn't know he was human, or they might have eaten him alive.

Jiang Yanche wanted to return to the real world, but every time he tried to leave, the kitten clung to him, crying, throwing a tantrum, and threatening to harm itself.

He went to eat alone, and the kitten fainted.

He went to do a mission alone, and the kitten vomited blood.

He left a farewell letter and went off alone, and the kitten had a heart attack and was rushed to the emergency room.

Jiang Yanche's heart softened, and he came back to keep the delicate, sickly kitten by his side.

One day, he opened his eyes to find himself lying in a huge mansion, surrounded by cats. Everyone bowed to him respectfully and served him tea and refreshments.

"What's going on?"

Huo Chenli, the ninth-generation heir to the Cat Clan, turned out to be a young master who had run away from home.

Huo Chenli carried him straight to his room and said, "Big brother, you're the spoils I brought home from my travels."

"T-Travels? Spoils?"

The kitten curled its tail around his neck, snuggled against him, and began stripping off his clothes. "Humans smell so good. Let me take a bite."

"What the hell? You know I'm human? Don't take my clothes off!"

Jiang Yanche kicked him flying. The cat hit the ground and coughed up blood, gasping loudly again as a pair of fluffy ears appeared and it meowed.

"Oh no, I kicked too hard." Jiang Yanche picked up the kitten in alarm and checked its injuries.

The next moment, his soft heart got the better of him, and the cat spirit devoured him completely.
