Cherry Pit

Yu Xuandong consulted several lawyers to help handle her parents' divorce. In the end, Huo Dingbo was the one who sorted it all out.

People later said Huo Dingbo had fallen for her at first sight. He even took her out for the cherries and luosifen she loved. Back then, luosifen was still a niche food. Huo Dingbo really did care about Yu Xuandong, but she never accepted his advances outright.

Not until Yu Xuandong started her own cleaning company.

Even her parents disapproved. Yu Xuandong kept persuading her relatives and friends to join the company as cleaners. At first, she told them they would be managers, then gradually dangled promises in front of them, claiming they were short-staffed.

Yu Xuandong was a business genius, but she overestimated human nature.

Her relatives ran off with the company seal and its money. Yu Xuandong reported them to the police and asked Huo Dingbo to help with the lawsuit.

After one thing led to another, she really did discover that Huo Dingbo had what it took.

Once everything was settled, Yu Xuandong decided to give Huo Dingbo a chance, but he still wouldn't confess his feelings...
