The Path of Five Stars

“Five Stars in Orbit” traces BIGBANG's nineteen-year journey, using the five members' bond and their individual romantic destinies as its heart, unfolding a story of dreams, growth, and lasting connection.

In a Seoul practice room in 2006, five boys polish their dance moves again and again in front of a mirror, their sweat-soaked T-shirts bearing names no one has learned yet. Back then, the light meant motion-activated hallway lamps in the early morning, the reckless belief in each other's eyes that “we're going to make it,” and a hazy anticipation of the future. When the melody of “Lies” bursts forth, they are suddenly thrust into the spotlight. From a “group everyone doubted” to “a force that changed the rules of K-pop,” the first star's orbit holds youthful innocence and the pain of breaking through, while quietly planting the seeds of love to come.

At the height of their fame, the stage is like a swirling nebula, where the roar of “Fantastic Baby” intertwines with the tenderness of “Blue.” Applause and controversy come pouring in together. When one member stays up until dawn in the studio, someone brings him a cup of warm milk. When another falls silent amid a storm of public opinion, a hand gently takes his. The second star's orbit holds steadfastness in the midst of dazzling fame, the struggle between individual brilliance and the bond they share as a group, and the shape of love: waiting quietly offstage, standing side by side late at night.
