You Made the First Move

Not long after starting school, Zhou Shuyi had countless boys chasing after her.

One day, yet another boy followed her around, asking for her contact information. Fed up, Zhou Shuyi grabbed a passing boy at random and said he was her boyfriend.

The trick worked. The boy took one look at the person she was holding onto, then immediately backed off and ran away.

She never expected to run into him again a few days later while applying for a part-time job.

At first, she wasn't sure she'd recognized him correctly. She stared at him for a long time, trying to make sure. The interviewer, Chen Fuye, raised his eyes and flashed a wicked smile. "What is it? It's only been a few days, and you don't recognize your own boyfriend anymore?"

Only later did Zhou Shuyi realize she'd provoked the one person she never should have.

That day, he cornered her in a dim street alley and demanded a kiss.

"What will it take for you to leave me alone?" she asked, head held high, defiance written all over her face.

"Leave you alone?" Chen Fuye touched her face, his smile wild and reckless. "That's never going to happen in this lifetime."

"Zhou Shuyi, you're the one who started this."
