The Only Little Male in the Entire Insectoid Race

[My upcoming novel isn't getting much attention, so come take a look: "After Exile, I Became My Nemesis's Emergency Rations"]

Florian is the only male insect egg to develop and hatch on Insect Star in the past several decades.

But the little male hatchling just wants to curl up in his egg and sleep. Even after three years of meticulous care, he still refuses to hatch.

Little one: Calm and indifferent, wanting no part of the world.

When the latest rescue attempt fails yet again and the data inside the incubator starts to look like a dead egg's, the parents watching outside can no longer stay calm:

Beautiful noble · Male father: My baby! Don't leave your male father all alone!

Imperial general · Female father: My baby! Don't leave your female father all alone!

Sinister insect emperor · Eldest maternal uncle: My baby! Don't leave your eldest uncle all alone!

Florian: Why do you have to make me come out? I don't wanna...

The little hatchling is feeling sorry for himself inside his egg when, the next second, he experiences a "drop tower" ride far beyond what a baby can handle.

They expect a horrific scene with egg fluid everywhere. But when all the insects look over, a cute, chubby little paw is feeling around among the broken eggshell pieces, trying to put his beloved shell back together.

The family bugs, on the verge of going crazy: So... so cute...

The family bugs really do go crazy, unable to stop themselves from cuddling and petting the little one every day.

Unhappy baby: I wanna go back in my egg!

Oh no! The little male hatchling really is about to get depressed to show you all!

1. The baby is absolutely adored by every bug. He's a spoiled, willful little brat who loves to act cute, with low energy and a frail constitution, but an immortal body.

2. The love interest is Lucien, ten years older than the protagonist. The protagonist dotes on him (very intensely!). He just wants to be the obedient little puppy at the baby's side. There may be a bit of feminization of the male love interest, and he occasionally tries to treat everyone equally, but mostly he spoils the little darling. He's not a weak bottom.

3. There is a side couple. The baby's two fathers interact much like the baby and the love interest do, but the male father can't act spoiled and willful around the baby, since the baby is even more delicate and throws a fit at the drop of a hat. The beautiful male father is completely obsessed with the baby. Every character is obsessed with the baby!

4. The main story has a high concentration of baby scenes. The romance when he grows up comes in the latter half. Egg-laying and childbearing won't appear in the main story. If you'd like to read that, you can wait until the novel is complete and I write an extra chapter. Content warnings for later are undecided.

Mu Yao is the only sheep beastman in a carnivorous family. Spoiled by his parents, he grows up safe and sound until nearly three years old, but when his family is caught up in a power struggle, he is separated from his parents and older brothers and left adrift on a remote planet.

Just as he's about to cry himself dry in the ruins of some place, the nemesis he's only ever heard about from his clan leaps down from the sky and opens his enormous jaws at him...

Then the pitiful, filthy little lamb is carried off by an evil leopard. He can't escape, and every day the leopard marks him with its barbed tongue and forces him to eat a huge amount of food.

Little lamb, danger!

The scary big leopard must be trying to fatten him up before eating him in one bite!

After cautiously throwing his weight around in the big leopard's territory for more than ten years, Mu Yao finally realizes, sprawled across the leopard's muscular chest: It turns out the big leopard is the one who's been prepared as his "emergency rations" all along.
