[Not abandoned, not abandoned! I have an outline, and I'll still write it!]
Two-faced, scheming navigator A x rebellious, feisty racing driver O
The World Rally Championship, an extreme motorsport traditionally considered an alpha-only event. Until Cen Ye, an omega, appeared.
Racing under the codename Lion, he broke records, dominated the competition, and earned the commentator's nickname "the Mad Lion of the track."
Always behind him was his destined navigator, Aiden.
Though they had never seen each other's faces beneath their helmets and knew each other only by their codenames, they had raced through countless extreme corners together, entrusting their lives to each other. They were the most in-sync team in the world.
At the height of their success, Cen Ye was forced to return to China for an arranged marriage. On the same day, Aiden announced his retirement. The legendary duo lost contact for good.
After meeting his new husband, Cheng Yu, Cen Ye's first thought was that the man looked familiar. His second was that it didn't matter.
He could get married and still keep racing! But Cen Ye sadly discovered that not one navigator in the country could keep up with his speed.
What was Aiden doing now, he wondered…
On the eve of the new season, Cheng Yu calmly takes off his gold-rimmed glasses, changes into a racing suit, and takes the passenger seat beside him.
"Need a navigator? I'm in."
…
From their precise coordination to his partner anticipating his moves, and then that familiar instruction reaching his ears, Cen Ye finally understands why Cheng Yu seemed familiar the first time they met.
After the race, Cen Ye yanks him out of the passenger seat and pins him against the car door.
"Cheng Yu," Cen Ye says through gritted teeth, blocking his lips. "Or should I call you Aiden?"
Trapped by him, Cheng Yu gives a faint, knowing smile. "That depends. Are you Cen Ye or Lion?"
"When did you recognize me?"
"The first time I saw you."
From the moment they recognize each other, the Mad Lion of the track has found his master again. They return to the circuit and race at full throttle, surrendering to each other.
The WRC has thirteen rounds each year. The ice and snow of Karelia, the wild sands of Kurland, the nights of Velen… They use their savage speed to shatter the WRC's prejudice against omegas, crushing teams from around the world beneath their wheels.
At the final round of the season, the commentator's roar echoes across racetracks around the globe: "A miracle has been born! The first crew in WRC history to win thirteen consecutive championships is now legendary!"
