What's Wrong with Being an Untouchable Beauty?

Pei Tuyou, the Demon Clan's Holy Maiden, has been protected by her mother since childhood and has never had to take on a dangerous mission. Then one day, her mother tells her she needs to infiltrate Yaoshan and steal a sword.

Yaoshan is the foremost of the immortal sects, and the sword her mother wants her to steal is the Jadewater Sword, wielded by Yaoshan's head disciple, He Jinfan.

The mission doesn't seem difficult. Pei Tuyou assumes a false identity and arranges to stay by He Jinfan's side. Seeing her every day, surely He Jinfan will fall for her act.

But it turns out He Jinfan is an absolute block of ice. No matter what Pei Tuyou tries, she can't fool her in the slightest.

With no other choice, Pei Tuyou seeks another way.

She sets a trap and lures He Jinfan into it.

But once again, she fails.

Facing the risk of failing her mission, Pei Tuyou decides to fight He Jinfan to the bitter end.

Unexpectedly, He Jinfan suddenly changes. She becomes... incredibly strange, chatting with her every day about the person she loves.

He Jinfan realizes that the junior sister who has appeared by her side is suspicious.

At first, she thinks the girl has feelings for her.

But then she discovers the girl has designs on her sword.

This junior sister is a member of the Demon Clan.

He Jinfan quickly figures that out.

Then she deduces a second thing: this junior sister isn't just a demon, she's the Demon Clan's Holy Maiden.

She remembers her.

And the other girl doesn't recognize her.

Not only does she fail to recognize her, she even thinks He Jinfan has an unrequited love... which is, in fact, true.
