Note:
There are ghosts, but nothing scary. Almost nobody at the school is actually human. You can think of them as NPCs who only follow the plot. There is no mystery element.

Synopsis:
Self-serving, spoiled, gorgeous bottom Jiang Huaiwu / unhinged, mentally unstable top / shared senses / nonhuman beings / everyone loves him / split-off selves
Jiang Huaiwu had been dating Xie Zeyu for three years. Xie was perfect in every way except that he was far too controlling. Unable to stand it any longer, Jiang Huaiwu broke up with him.
But his boyfriend refused to accept it. After the breakup failed, Jiang Huaiwu noticed that his life had changed.
Xie Zeyu became quiet and seemed to shed pieces. A strange fog rose in the house, and at night, half-asleep, Jiang Huaiwu could see tentacles and vines dancing in front of his bed. His body also started feeling unwell, and only getting close to Xie Zeyu made it better.
After living like this for a while, Jiang Huaiwu became certain that Xie Zeyu wasn't human.
He tried to break up with him again, and strangely, Xie Zeyu agreed right away.

After the breakup, Jiang Huaiwu had nightmares every night. Black fog and hideous tentacles filled his dreams. Unable to take it anymore, he was forced to get a new boyfriend.
His new boyfriend was named Jing Jiahe. He was cheerful and could drive out ghosts and evil spirits.
Jiang Huaiwu's nightmares disappeared.
Just when he thought he could live a peaceful life, one night, a mass of black fog enveloped him, and his ex-boyfriend's cold, eerie voice sounded in his ear: "Good boy, do you think he's human?"
As Xie Zeyu spoke, Jing Jiahe before him gradually turned into a mass of mist, with tentacles just like Xie Zeyu's growing all around him.
Jiang Huaiwu's face went pale. Xie Zeyu's breath was icy cold. "Good boy, won't you break up with him?"
Note:
1. The reason for the breakup is explained in Chapter One.
2. Xie Zeyu and Jing Jiahe are not human. Their true form is black fog, and they can take many shapes. There is a lot of creative license.
3. Jing Jiahe formed from a portion of fog that Xie Zeyu shed. They are essentially one person. They will merge later, sharing one body while retaining two separate consciousnesses.
