Self-serving, spoiled, beautiful shou (Jiang Huaiwu) × mentally unstable, unhinged gong / nonhuman / universally adored / egg-laying
Jiang Huaiwu had been dating Xie Zeyu for three years. He was perfect in every way except for being far too controlling, so Jiang Huaiwu couldn't take it anymore and broke up with him.
But his boyfriend refused to accept it. After the breakup failed, Jiang Huaiwu noticed that his life had changed.
Xie Zeyu became quiet and seemed to shed bits of himself. A strange fog appeared in the house, and at night, half-asleep, Jiang Huaiwu could see tentacled vines dancing beside his bed. His body began to feel strange too, and only being near Xie Zeyu made it better.
After living like this for a while, Jiang Huaiwu realized that Xie Zeyu wasn't human.
He broke up with him again. Strangely enough, Xie Zeyu agreed right away.

After the breakup, Jiang Huaiwu had nightmares every night. In his dreams, there was nothing but thick black fog and monstrous tentacles. Unable to take it anymore, he was forced to get a new boyfriend.
His new boyfriend was named Jing Jiahe. He was cheerful and could exorcise ghosts and drive away demons.
Jiang Huaiwu's nightmares disappeared.
Just as he thought he could live a peaceful life, a mass of black fog enveloped him one night. His ex-boyfriend's cold, eerie voice sounded beside his ear: "Good boy, do you really think he's human?"
As Xie Zeyu spoke, Jing Jiahe before him gradually turned into a mass of mist, with the same kind of tentacles as Xie Zeyu's growing around him.
Jiang Huaiwu's face went pale. Xie Zeyu's breath was icy as he asked, "Good boy, aren't you going to break up with him?"
Note:
1. The reason for the breakup is explained in Chapter One.
2. Neither Xie Zeyu nor Jing Jiahe is human. Their true form is black fog, and they can take various shapes. There are many original setting details.
3. Jing Jiahe was formed from a part of Xie Zeyu's body that he separated from himself.
