Breaking Through Dimensions to Love You

1.

Rong Suian had been dreaming a lot lately. In his dreams, a frail, sickly man was constantly bullied.

By his classmates, his father, his stepbrother.

They humiliated him, framed him, and beat him.

Rong Suian watched in growing frustration. How could a grown man never fight back, only covering his head with his arms, cowering and apologizing?

At last, one day, Rong Suian couldn't take it anymore. He rushed forward and taught a group of people a lesson when they tried to pull the man's pants down.

The man was still trembling in the corner. Rong Suian brushed off his clothes, held out a hand, and said, "Get up."

2.

Yi Sui was invisible at home, the class scapegoat, and a freak in everyone's eyes.

He had long since grown numb to it, and stopped expecting anything from anyone.

Then one day, the class monitor, who had always been aloof and cold, suddenly chased off every bully and held out a hand to him, saying, "Get up."

Yi Sui stared at him blankly, but saw an illusory double on his face: the face of someone else...

3.

Rong Suian, may you be safe and well every year. May the whole world cherish you.

These were the words Yi Sui carefully typed late one night while writing his novel.
