The Prince's Mansion Slacker's Handbook

Yuan Qing, a wage-slaving corporate drone, transmigrates overnight and becomes an utterly unremarkable concubine in Prince Huai's manor.

A family-run company, a bad-tempered boss, few opportunities for promotion, and plenty of backstabbing among colleagues.

The only upside is that the pay isn't bad, and the lady of the house guarantees that as long as you keep your head down, you can work there until you die.

Yuan Qing: If you're going to be a corporate drone, you might as well slack off wherever you are!

Step one to slacking off: choose a place far from the boss's bedroom.

Make sure the boss won't pass your desk when he makes his rounds.

Step two to slacking off: cultivate an image of being sickly and frail.

That way, you can take time off at “crucial moments.”

Step three to slacking off: find a like-minded slacking-off buddy.

Chat about gossip and coast through the days until retirement.

But just when she thinks her happy life of slacking off will go on forever,

her slacking-off buddy gets promoted.

And the first thing they do is tell the boss every last detail about her slacking off.

Yuan Qing: ?

I thought we were buddies, but you thought I was a fool?

Qi Yu knows perfectly well that these so-called concubines are spies planted at his side by his imperial elder brother.

According to his subordinates' investigation, the one most loyal to his brother is a woman named Yuan Qing.

Yuan Qing.

Qi Yu thinks for a long time.

Is there really someone by that name in the manor?

But he's heard she's highly skilled in martial arts and deeply scheming, so for the first time in his life, Qi Yu steps into Tingfeng Courtyard, where she lives.

Instead, he sees her kneeling before a jade Buddha, praying earnestly: “May the prince enjoy good health and live to a ripe old age! Let me stay here until I die!”

Qi Yu: ?

Are you sure the investigation was right?

She clearly loves him so much.
