The marriage between Shen Zhiyi and Jiang Jin was a transaction in which each got what they wanted.

They first met on the day they registered their marriage. Afterward, they went their separate ways and didn't contact each other for two years.

Later, Shen Zhiyi's flower shop accidentally caught fire. Flames shot into the sky, smoke filled the air, and she was lucky to make it out alive.

She sat pitifully by a flower bed, her little face blackened by soot. A concerned neighbor watching the scene asked, "Young lady, where's your family?"

Shen Zhiyi stared blankly and said, "I only have my husband."

The neighbor helpfully pulled out their phone and asked, "What's your husband's name? I'll call him for you."

Shen Zhiyi thought for two minutes.

"My husband... what's his name again?"

After confirming at the hospital that she wasn't seriously hurt,

Shen Zhiyi ran into the firefighter who had rescued her at the entrance.

He wore a black outdoor jacket, with deep-set eyes and a cold, rebellious air. He looked difficult to approach.

Shen Zhiyi had never been good at talking to people like him, but since he was her rescuer, she worked up the courage to greet him and asked anxiously, "Why are you at the hospital? Did you get hurt saving me?"

"I'm here to see my wife."

"What's wrong with your wife?"

He looked her over a few times, his tone lazy:

"She probably has amnesia."
