As a fox spirit, Yuzhao found life among the demons incredibly hard.
So, during the battle between immortals and demons, a filthy little fox slipped away in the chaos and stole the Spirit-Gathering Pill the Demon Lord had dropped.
The Spirit-Gathering Pill was a treasure. Even a little fox with as little cultivation as Yuzhao could use it to conceal her demonic aura and take human form.
She heard that the Qingyun Sword Sect was a wealthy, powerful sect. Desperate for money, Yuzhao decided without a second thought to join up and cash in.
And it really was loaded!
Apart from the hard work of cultivation, Yuzhao spent her days in her cave dwelling with her legs propped up, snacking and reading storybooks. Life was wonderful.
Sometimes, when no one was around, Yuzhao would let out her cramped fox tail to stretch it.
Zhou Yanxing was Yuzhao's senior brother in the same sect, an upright and refined gentleman.
Zhou Yanxing: My junior sister is a little lazy, but deep down she's an honest, kind girl.
But...
Fox fur was found in the pastries Yuzhao gave her senior brothers and sisters;
One junior brother said, still shaken, that when he went to deliver something to Junior Sister Zhaozhao, he saw a huge, fluffy tail flash through her cave dwelling.
[How Yuzhao thought she was hiding it well, when the whole sect knew she was a fox]
A clueless, popular, laid-back little fox spirit x an upright, refined senior brother who's sweet on the outside and dark within, an unruly, foolish dog of a Demon Lord, and a black-hearted, mature demon hunter
