Whose Pallas's Cat Got Left Here?

Tang Bai had just become a manul keeper when he unexpectedly transmigrated into a manul himself. No official job, completely wild, no benefits, though he did get five kinds of social insurance and a housing fund. He nearly fell off a cliff and knocked himself unconscious; Nearly choked himself while eating meat; Nearly got hunted down by a pack of wolves; Nearly got killed by a golden eagle; Nearly got chased to death by a lynx; And then he found a lynx with a head injury, after it had fallen while being attacked by wolves. The badly injured lynx lying in the snow suddenly opened its eyes. Its animal gaze looked dangerous. It knocked Tang Bai over with one swipe and asked warily, "Who are you? Who am I?" Tang Bai had been trembling with fear, but at those words he paused. "You don't remember?" His eyes darted around, and a wicked idea came to him. He sat down in the snow, his fluffy paws pinning his tail, and said earnestly, "I'm your full younger brother, even though we have different parents." "A manul?" The lynx narrowed its eyes. Tang Bai was too busy giving a heartfelt performance to notice that the lynx's gaze was gradually clearing... "Believe me, I'm actually just a smaller lynx." Tang Bai raised his fluffy paws. "I'll grow bigger." * After enduring one humiliation after another, Tang Bai finally started feeling smug. He'd gained himself a top-notch bodyguard: A real, battle-tested lynx! But he had no idea that the gaze of a certain "amnesiac" lynx was growing more and more dangerous. Theme: Animals and humans living together in harmony and depending on one another
