* The female lead grows over time. She is not perfect, nor is she a powerhouse heroine.

* There is a main plot, basically a girl saves the world!

Lin Mo grew up in the chaotic Lower City. Like millions of others, she was ordinary, average, and hardworking.

She followed her late parents' advice to stay away from the battlefield and seek a stable life. After graduating, she worked diligently for several years and finally landed a secure job.

The good news: she got the job. The bad news: it was at a prison.

And not just any prison, but an isolated island prison, cut off from the world, where serious criminals were held and going to work meant losing contact with everyone.

Looking through a pane of reinforced glass, Lin Mo sometimes wondered: which one of us is actually in prison?

Well, might as well make the best of it. At least the job is stable.

With a sigh, Lin Mo packs her things and rows away amid the chaos of gunfire.

Unfortunately, a sudden gale whips up at sea, and she is swept into a current and blacks out.

When Lin Mo wakes up, a Redemption System has appeared in her mind.

The System tells her to use love and warmth to redeem the cold, broken hearts of those sentinels.

Lin Mo is speechless: You're only telling me this now?!

Now one's a crime boss, one's a newly appointed prince of a neighboring country, one's the leader of a ruthless rebel army, and one's an elusive assassin.

Who exactly is supposed to be receiving warmth here? Given their history with her, she's afraid those sentinels will go crazy and tear her apart.

The System looks at the progress bar, most of which has already turned black, and doesn't dare say a word. It trembles in fear.

Ye Yuzhao wakes up one day to learn that her younger brother, Ye Yunmu, is the beloved-by-all protagonist shou of an explicit BL novel.

Apparently, he has some kind of furnace constitution. Dual cultivation with him is twice as effective and makes progress a thousand miles a day.

And she is the protagonist shou's evil older sister. She falls in love with her brother's men and recklessly keeps courting disaster. She gets deceived, captured, and tortured, and those men use her to threaten her brother. Eventually, her feelings are worn away, her brother rejects her, and she dies a tragic death.

Ye Yuzhao is utterly shocked!

My brother likes men?!

Well, he does seem to be surrounded by men.

Wait, I'm going to die?!

Ye Yuzhao decides this won't do. There are so many things she hasn't eaten and so many places she hasn't been. She doesn't want to die!

With no men in her heart, her swordsmanship will reach divine heights. Ye Yuzhao begins cultivating like mad, hoping to avoid all that melodrama.

But those men still show up around her brother one after another.

And so Ye Yuzhao takes up the role of a mother-in-law choosing a son-in-law.

Ye Yuzhao beats them all and decides none of them are good enough for her brother.

Ye Yunmu loves someone he should not love. He loves cautiously, as if walking on thin ice, and with the pain of self-destruction.

When his little sister carried him on her back and walked out into that snowy night, he swore in his heart that he would never leave her, for the rest of his life.

But later, too many people began to take up his sister's attention.

Ye Yunmu clutches his chest, at last waiting for his furnace constitution to act up.

That night, he knocks on his sister's door, his clothes in disarray and a subtle fragrance in the air. His breath is sweet as orchids as he says:

"Sister... Let's keep the benefits in the family... Let me... help you with your cultivation..."

Ye Yuzhao, polishing her sword: "What is wrong with you? Aren't you cold dressed like that?"

Then she quickly pulls him over and wraps him in a quilt.

Wrapped in the quilt, Ye Yunmu wears a dark expression and grits his teeth.

A super-strong, oblivious older sister × a gloomy, crawling-in-the-shadows younger brother

The female lead is a little beloved by all without realizing it: a seemingly aloof, actually warm-hearted senior sister who loves life and food, and is a tough, powerful sword cultivator.

The male lead seems gentle and polite, but is actually cold and distant, a gloomy, resentful ghost of a man whose life's dream is to offer himself up and be drained dry by his sister.

They're not blood-related. At first, the female lead sincerely raises her younger brother, while he spends all his time crawling around in the shadows.

Important: They are not related by blood!

This story does not involve any BL scenes! There's more to the original plot than meets the eye!
