Ruìsui was called out by the course attendance app after nearly skipping class, embarrassing herself in front of the whole class. She was so mortified she wanted the ground to swallow her.
To share her "joy," she decided to make a course app group and drag her annoying cousin into it so she could suffer too. A university student majoring in early childhood education who had no intention of becoming a preschool teacher, Ruìsui also really wanted to experience what it was like to be a teacher.
It's not like she was being unfair. The two of them hadn't seen each other in ten years, and the first thing her cousin did was ask her to pay for her little brother's schooling. How could she not be angry?
On top of that, that very day she'd asked her love-at-first-sight crush for his contact information and been turned down. In the end, all she could do was add her cousin instead, which made her even angrier.
Her cousin was a little strange. On the phone, she called Ruìsui "darling" every other word, but online she was very distant. Her name was also quite similar to her crush's. If only they were the same person.
Was she trying to play up the contrast? Interesting.

After spending time with her, Ruìsui thought her cousin was a good person too: gentle, kind, and thoughtful. No matter what Ruìsui said or what strange request she made, her cousin would patiently answer and do it.
If only she hadn't made that phone call.
And Ruìsui was incredibly lucky. Not only did she move into the same apartment complex as her crush by chance, but she kept running into him. Little by little, the two of them got to know each other.
Ruìsui thought their relationship was still lukewarm, so she needed to come up with a way to bring them closer.
As her good friend and the only person she could confide in, her cousin was naturally the person she wanted to ask for advice.
[I'm So Sensitive: Please teach me how to pursue someone! Urgent, urgent, urgent!]
[Class Is Over: See each other more often. If you can get to know him better, maybe he'll gradually get closer to you too.]
[I'm So Sensitive: I need to think of an excuse. Should I break a lightbulb at home, crack a pipe, mess up the AC, or smash a floor tile?]
[Class Is Over: I think the person you're looking for is a repair technician.]
To keep her crush from becoming a repair technician, Ruìsui decided to try something else. But her crush seemed to be a mind reader. She didn't do anything, yet he started slowly approaching her just as she'd hoped.

After her final exams, she followed her cousin's advice and successfully held hands with Xu Qiao. She wanted to invite her cousin out for a meal to thank her, since she'd been their biggest matchmaker.
Her cousin said she'd treat Ruìsui instead, so Ruìsui wouldn't have to pay. It would also be a chance to see how well she'd done on the course app. Ruìsui was overjoyed and planned to really make her cousin pay.
At the high-end restaurant, she stared at Xu Qiao, dumbfounded.
Xu Qiao kindly put food on her plate. Seeing her frozen in place, he asked, "Teacher, aren't you going to eat?"
The sudden ring of a phone call saved her life. In a daze, she ran to the restroom to answer it, only to feel even more despair after hearing what was said.
"Jingjing said you owe over a million?"
Cousin, why are you calling yourself Xu Jing?

New story blurb
Gentle school beauty × irreverent rich kid
To temporarily escape her mother's control and maintain her image as a gentle, generous person, Jiang Yunzi agreed to help her twin sister Jiang Huiyu, who was being bullied at school, get out of trouble.
She returned to Seventh High School under Jiang Huiyu's identity.
Most people at Seventh High knew Jiang Huiyu was a boastful liar.
She wasn't a rich heiress. The designer clothes she wore were fake, and every picture she posted on social media was stolen and face-swapped. She didn't live in a villa downtown. Her family of six was crammed into a rundown apartment in an old neighborhood.
People thought she was a clown, sometimes playing along with her act while laughing at her behind her back.
When her identity was about to be exposed, she chose to disappear. She stopped going to school and didn't go home, but no one truly cared where she'd gone.
She was like an insignificant speck of dust, impossible to notice, and at most a subject of casual gossip over tea.
The once-adored school beauty had become an outcast, but Jiang Yunzi accepted it calmly.
In this new place, she didn't have to maintain a perfect image or listen to anyone's opinions of her. For a while, she could be herself again.
-
The only complication was Jiang Chixiao, the culprit who had stepped on and ruined her dress when they'd met once at a friend's birthday party.
He came from a wealthy family and had a carefree personality. His handsome face made him popular, yet he took a particular interest in Jiang Yunzi, who was trying hard to fade into the background. Every time, he managed to spot her in a crowd.
She couldn't avoid him, so she resigned herself to letting him follow her. Under his powerful aura, she was forced back into the center of everyone's attention.
When people asked about their relationship, he would glance at her unhurriedly and say, "She's my sister."
Then, a love letter she'd written him long ago was posted on the school honor board. He pushed through the crowd of onlookers, tore it down, and left with a cold expression.
In a corner, his voice was full of hope as he asked, "Do you like me?"
She gave him that same familiar smile and said, "Guess."
The light in his eyes slowly dimmed, and one day she quietly left without a trace.
-
When they met again, Jiang Yunzi was a wildly popular star. Jiang Chixiao passed her by.
She would stand in the spotlight, surrounded by flowers and applause, while he watched her familiar face from below the stage, desperately suppressing his longing and gazing at her from the shadows with burning eyes.
He was no longer by her side. She no longer needed him. They would never have anything to do with each other again.
But just as he was about to leave, she ran after him and grabbed his sleeve, saying plainly, "I've been waiting for you all along."
*Both are each other's only love / both first loves / the male lead has a secret crush
Years later, I finally understood the reluctance hidden in your eyes. You were gentler than anyone, and more resolute than anyone.
